Johann has finally found an opportunity to explore the composer in him when he wrote his first song, “Ikaw Na Nga” at the height of the pandemic, during lockdown, at home in November of 2020. This beautiful and hopeful song basically talks about a person who has been waiting, trusting, and praying for God’s perfect will and timing to finally meet “the ONE”. In these times when “hugot” and breakup songs are really trending, Johann just thought of adding up something optimistic and hopeful to the wealth of beautiful Original Pilipino Music that we have.
“Ikaw Na Nga” was arranged by none other than one of the industry’s finest musical directors, Mr. Homer Flores and was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Johann himself in his own studio, Upper Deck Home Studio. The song will be having three release installments this February 2022, just in time for the love month celebration. Song release is on February 11, Short-film premiere is on February 13, and Music Video premiere is on February 18, 2022, all directed by one of our country’s rising actor/directors, Neo Rivera.
